The Brigham and Women’s Hospital Primary Care Center of Excellence delivers high-quality, patient-centered care based on strong relationships between our patients and our physicians. Our primary care has 16 sites with 2 community health centers, with more than 200 physicians and 45 NPs/PAs. The Primary Care Center of Excellence has a mission for education, research, and the clinical practice of primary care. Dedicated to improving the health and well-being of patients and families, our providers offer a variety of services, ranging from routine annual exams to comprehensive evaluation and diagnosis, expert treatment, and seamless coordination of care with specialists.

Through investigation and discovery conducted at its Biomedical Research Institute (BRI), BWH is an international leader in research on human diseases, involving more than 1,000 physician-investigators and renowned biomedical scientists and faculty supported by more than $640 M in funding.
