Covenant HealthCare is a leading regional health care provider that serves Mid-Michigan citizens in 14 counties providing convenience and easy access to high quality medical care with more than 20 inpatient and outpatient facilities, including two major acute care medical centers.

As the sixth largest hospital in Michigan and the largest, most comprehensive health care facility north of metropolitan Detroit, Covenant offers a broad spectrum of services including cardiology, critical care, surgery, imaging and diagnostics, laboratory, oncology, orthopedics, obstetrics, pediatrics, physical therapy and home health care. Covenant also has the only regional neonatal and pediatric intensive care units north of Flint.

As one of Saginaw County’s largest employers, Covenant employs more than 4,000 employees and has a medical staff that encompasses more than 450 physicians all who share a common commitment- to provide exceptional medical care through competence, compassion, spiritual and ethical values.

Teaching opportunities are available through Synergy Medical Education Alliance, a non-profit medical education corporation that offers community-based residency programs which are fully accredited and university affiliated. Synergy is a clinical campus of Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Covenant physicians are able to hold faculty/clinical appointments through Michigan State and participate in the training programs.
